Rheumatoid arthritis (RA), often know as the “invisible disease” is widely misunderstood. One of the most common misconceptions is the fact that most individuals with RA do not “look” sick. Another, is that the disease is confused with other types of arthritis, such as osteoarthritis. Possibly, the most common misconception is age.
