Hi Hannah!

I understand your sentiment but disagree somewhat. I don’t think my wife, or any woman for that matter, needs men to amplify their voices. For those who know my wife she is strong enough to speak out on her own and does so quite well as her interview shows.

What I believe women need, and I stated in the article, is for men to acknowledge the discrimination against women in tech, stop other men from dampening the voices of those women, and get out of the way so women can shine like they are worthy and able to do on their own.

What I don’t believe women need is for men to ‘come to the rescue’ and help amplify their voices.

I too look forward to seeing more Belinda Hare thought pieces on Medium or anywhere else, but that’s her decision to make, not your’s or mine.
