What was supposed to be a nice weekend getaway quickly evolved into something else. Your friends have all shacked up with one another and are clearly off doing the deed, while you’re just trying to enjoy yourself. It was almost ceremonious, watching all of the different couples peel away from the group one after another. Well…except for that one girl who you didn’t know too well that went to the bathroom alone. She never came back.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
Is the ceiling leaking? But why are the drops warm?
You wipe away the drops on your hand, and look up…
You’re at a party that your friend invited you to. You didn’t want to go, but she made you go. While you’re there, you decide to sneak off onto the balcony at the apartment and baby your drink as the cool night air brushes against your skin.
“I’m not one for crowds either,” says a voice behind you. Someone has joined you out on the balcony, drink in hand. “Want some company?”
You spend the rest of the night chatting about your favorite movies and dumb childhood games that should’ve broken your neck, but you were a resilient kid. …
They’re all probably played by Scarlett Johansson on the silver screen.
We’ve all been there at one point or another. We’re all sitting down to watch an exciting new movie in a packed cinema. You’ve eagerly eaten half of your popcorn during the previews, but I’ll admit to taking some. Finally the opening credits roll, and the scene is set. We could be in futuristic Japan, introduced to a strange, yet powerful Japanese woman.
Or maybe you don’t like action…
