Great post. I completely agree with you that industrialized society promotes greed, as it establishes the pursuit of the false value of monetary wealth. People are adherent to consumerism and find value in a growing bank account, rather than pursuing value through experience (money does buy experiences and some values but only to a point). Many are alienated from the consequences of their actions in the pursuit of a more wealth. There are hundreds of instances of large corporations industrializing third-world nations draining them of their labor and resources.
