I’ve come to agree that more time doesn’t mean more productivity, but wonder how this relates to people still needing to learn new skills. Your brain goes through myelination process with a lot of practice which requires a lot of time. For some (maybe most) jobs you should already have those skills and should focus on clarity and performance, but for “junior” people or those in startups that need to learn a lot on the job, maybe they still need more time. Not time to get more done, but time to force the brain into a myelination process.
