With two Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards, two NBA championship rings and a litany of other accolades over the last three seasons, it would seem clear that Steph Curry is the premier one-guard in the league.

With names like Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Kyrie Irving and John Wall amongst the potential candidates to take that title from Curry, it seems to get a little more muddled amongst NBA circles.

Despite the stiff competition, statistics, impact and eye test don’t lie, and make no mistake about it — Stephen Curry is not only the best point guard striding around the greatest basketball league in the world, he is one of the best to ever do it.

This season — between a meddling ankle injury — the former Davidson College standout has gone about proving his elite status once again.
