Today marks the finish of my third day at The IronYard, a 12 week immersive code school in Austin, TX. Immersive is code word for fast pace and intense but the payoff will be worth it.

Right now my head is swimming but I’ve made better progress than I thought although I’ve hit a brick wall tonight and am about to shut it down. I’m part of the early crew that probably has to get there that early in order to beat traffic(I guess the founding fathers of Austin didn’t realize it would grow like it has). So far I’ve been there from 7–7 each day and I don’t see that changing except for possibly Saturdays. But I’ll still be coding then also.

I’ve met some really interesting and nice people thus far and remember all their names. They look at me like I’m crazy…..but I’m just really good with names. Jacob
