Although i don’t believe that Bran is the Night King myself, your logic on time travel is flawed here.
If we assume that the Grandfather effect of time travel is in play, then the changes that Bran makes is already in place as we are watching it. For example, when Bran goes back and bridges Willis and Hordor, its safe to assume that Bran was the cause of Willis’ breakdown and thus his transition into Hordor. Though the entire time Bran has known Hordor, he has been Hordor as we know him. Thus the changes that are made by Bran as a time traveler may possibly set into motion the chain of events as we know them.
