Nice piece! I am confused by all the liberal and progressive folks that are a abandoning Hillary. They point out the fairy tales of trickle-down economics but then eat up similarly fantastic ideas from Bernie. Plus, why does Bernie need to be president to push his cause or start his revolution? Seem like the Senate is a far better place to propose new legislation, it being the legislative branch of government. What’s he been doing to accomplish single-payer for the last 36 years? Why didn’t he do anything to prevent student debt from getting so out of hand? He acts like he has zero power whatsoever as a U.S. senator.
