Day One (and two)
Today was my first day as the Online Director at Highlands Fellowship.
New beginnings are always an interesting transition. New schedules, new people, new routines, new expectatations, new office spaces, new everything.
It’s been a great time getting to know all the staff at Highlands and hearing about all that is happing around the different campuses. It is amazing how much reach Highlands has in the community and how committed they are to making a difference in people’s lives.
One of my main responsibilities will be leading the HF Online Campus (internet campus) and I could not be more excited! I am passionate about using technology for good and building community online.
I am not great at posting my writing (I'm working on it…). So, here’s a little extra in this post.
Day two was pretty great as well. I am starting to wrap my mind around what my job will entail and what I can bring to the table. I am still getting used to having less responisibilities (which is WONDERFUL). I don’t have to sit in on worship planning meetings, or IT stuff, design meeting, or go to shoot all the video footage; I am working on finding my lane and ministry.
If you don’t have a church you attend on Sundays, I would love to invite you to check out Highlands Fellowship Online (HFOnline for short). I will be on the chat and working behind the scenes this weekend for the web services; come say hi! We have services on Sundays at 10:00, 11:30, and 7:00pm, plus on Mondays at 10:00am and noon.
