Stop Caring About What Other People Think | Highs-school Entrepreneur
What’s up guys/girls, It’s James here.
In this post, I am going to discuss the power of not caring about what other people think.
Too many people care about what others think about them.
This can severely destroy your chances of ever being successful.
Because, the more you think about what other people think, the more time you waste.
So what do you get from not giving a f*uck?
This is vital to have in the game of success.
Speed is the game.
Let me tell you again, speed is the game.
Because the faster you can get to your goals, the faster you will become a success.
What is the number one way to increase speed?
Not giving a f*uck.
Everyone is afraid of disappointing someone.
Rather that be your parents, sibling, spouse, dog, or whoever.
And also let me say that the internet is a mean place.
You will be criticized.
But, if you want to be an entrepreneur, you have to not give a shit.
All the people that make fun of you or question you are not people you want to surround yourself with.
You should surround yourself with people who bring you up, not down.
All the people that bring you down are just jealous because they don’t have the courage to do it themselves.
But if you listen to them, that means you don’t believe in yourself and what you are doing.
If you want to be an entrepreneur, you have to believe in yourself and embrace the fear of failing or you will lose.
If you don’t care what others think and you believe in what you are doing, you will get to your goals much faster.
Speed is everything.
This is really important if your posting on youtube or any content at all.
When I first started, I would not film until my hair was perfect, I had the lighting set just right, and my backdrop was up.
Because of this, I was only able to create two pieces of content a week.
Along with posting so little, I dread posting because it took so long to set up.
And it looked forced.
When I started to not give a shit, not only did I post three times more, It looked a hell of a lot more natural.
If you think you have to have the perfect lighting, and an amazing camera, and be in a perfect position, and have the perfect background, this will dramatically cut down the amount of footage you will be able to produce.
Say person A has to have the perfect setting to post and person B posts whenever he can in whatever setting.
Say because of these factors, person A only is able to post 2 times a week while person B posts 6 times a week.
At the end of the month, person A has posted 8 times and person B has posted 24 times.
At the end of the year, person A has posted only 96 times while person B has posted 288 times.
Person B has nearly triple the experience and triple the content.
As you can see, giving a shit about what others think slows you down significantly.
It’s about the quality of the content and what you’re saying, not what it looks like.
If you have a modern smartphone and know what you’re talking that’s all you need.
Imagine the power of being able to flip out your phone at any second when you have an idea and just be able to film.
Imagine how much more content you could produce.
Also, it’s important to keep in mind that you are always one video/post away from blowing up.
It usually is one post that all successful people are known.
That one post that gets shared and puts the ball in motion.
If you are posting three times as much content, you will get there three times faster compared to people who can only post twice a week.
Hopefully I have opened your eyes to how crucial not giving a f*ck is as funny as it sounds.
Best of luck,
