How To Setup Your Week For Success
Simply rolling out of bed Monday morning to wander off to your job won’t cut it. Setting your week up for success requires some planning and effort. Typically that should have happened either at the end of day Friday or some point over your weekend. If you want to get the most out of your day you need to have a plan in place BEFORE the day starts. That means the last task you need to do each day is set a plan for the next day. It’s at the end of your day that you are most aware of what you need to accomplish next. Go ahead make your list, set your schedule and leave it in a place you’ll find when you start tomorrow. Having this list set will remove wondering where to start and wasting time at the beginning of your day. Simply attack the list and get your day rolling — then finish it off by making a new plan for tomorrow. It might not be sexy or exciting, but it will make your life easier and more productive. If that isn’t something you want, then keep doing what you’re doing now.
