Thanks for your feedback May! So the 8 things series existed long before we got in to creating an app for it. It was truly a content-first strategy. Our editorial team found that the magic number 8 worked performance wise on-site so we just built upon that opportunity for the app. Our content strategy leads the way and we use UX to optimize its potential. You can create the best UX for something but if the content sucks then nothing can save it. This was truly a 360-degree effort among all of our departments.
