THE NEWS AT THIRTEEN

Angela Eagle’s office came under attack today, as it was revealed a missile smashed through her window in Wallasey.

It is our understanding that the police questioned Jeremy Corbyn, after it was reported that, on being asked what he thought about the leadership challenge from Eagle’s office, he replied, “Im bricking it”.

Corbyn issued a statement denouncing the attacks, adding that he was shocked that someone could throw a brick into her workplace. He had always believed that she had nested much higher up. We understand that he has offered the brick counselling.

A shaken Mrs Eagle told reporters she thinks this incident will only further cement her leadership challenge. The labour party leader hopeful was relieved after she learned it was just a missile- initially, she was horrified that Gordon Brown had paid her a surprise visit, after her secretary had warned her that there was a massive brick waiting for her upstairs.

The brick, who was unavailable for questioning, is said to be living with the pane- a report which the window vehemently denies.
