This is the story of a girl who cried a river and drowned the whole world. She took her pain and built walls to shield her from the intruders that would later become her greatest weakness, and her worst enemies. She hid behind the color correction sticks that would hide her tear stained face and reduce the constant questions that plagued her daily.
She held a weapon to her body to make sure no one would touched her damaged soul. Her weapon was clothes. Because underneath the crop tops and high-waisted jeans was a girl who had scars that no one would dare to see. Beneath her laughs were mild screams begging for attention from those who turned their backs. She was destroyed and no one could see it.
The truth behind pain is we all feel it. Pain is always felts. Everyone has suffered the aftermath of hurt and whether that be because of another or because of the universe, it is real. There is no way to handle pain. You either let it happen or let it ruin you. However, always remember that the choice is yours.
