Banner for Cisco Switch

Banners and welcome messages are necessary when organization wishes to prosecute an unauthorized user or just give out some information or announcement. Idea is:

• Warn unauthorized users that they are not allowed to be here
• Give information or system identity

In Cisco device, we can use banner motd command is used to to define the text for banner.

# enable
# config terminal
# banner motd x <banner> x
