Throw him back


His eyebrows were twitching and I knew he was lying to me as he had done many times before.

Little lies (top lip quivered), medium lies (eye lid twitching) and big lies (entire face seemed to roam around like an insects’ nest).

I looked him up and down. He was sweating.

“Of course,” I said.

We shook hands. I walked away.
