— No. It’s not. It’s a common misconception. When people actually bothered to study and survey online harassment between men and women it was found and corroborated by multiple studies that men receive more (sometimes double in some findings) harassment than women. Women are just more likely to report the abuse as emotionally harmful, where as men report it as not that important.
