I think this is a great start on publicizing the Asian American Male experience. As a fairly complex demographic (eg: “Voted 2nd least date-able demographic after black women by EHarmony or something”, model minority, racial bullying to the max, bamboo ceiling, hate crimes), Asian American Men have not been studied much due to the Model Minority myth. I think this is a great response to the #HyperMasculAZN debate. It’s easy to criticize the experience from the outside but maybe showing how widespread some of the negatives are, people can start to understand it more. People need to understand that Asian Men, however typically economically well off, face a lot of negative influence due to their race.
