Great content you have here. I already have you in my favorites and I will keep reading. There is someone out there who appreciates what you’re doing greatly. Was looking at pics of challenge competitors on google and accidentally clicked on a link from a photo that lead me here. Great to see a fellow Challenge fanatic, and it’s awesome that you clearly love it so much that you dedicate all this time to developing a blog and what not. This was a fantastic read and I loved every minute of it. I never expected a full breakdown of an entirely fictional season, but I’m glad you did it. I had no idea that Rivals 2 was originally going to be Duel 3. I really wish that had been the case, because Rivals 2 was a complete snore fest for me. The only redeeming quality of the entire season was that CT finally got his most overdue and deserved win. Call me crazy but I’m also not a big Emily fan and it was annoying to watch her and Paula effortlessly dominate the other girls. It was just unfair and borderline unwatchable for me. I don’t hate Emily she’s an amazing competitor and she deserved the win, but I just think she’s a bit over hyped. She’s only won one challenge and it was a landslide victory over far inferior opponents. We’ve never really seen what she can do if up against other dominate females. Anyway, Duel 3 would’ve been way better than Rivals 2 by a long shot in the end. This entire post was so well thought out and realistic too. All of the eliminations and challenges were fairly thought out and determined, and just about all of the elimination results seemed right to me. I would’ve been fine with a CT and Emily win if it was Duel 3 with your proposed cast. Both deserved it and probably would have indeed won. To wrap up this essay I typed here I’ll post some of my Challenge-aholic credentials. I started watching the Challenge on Duel 1 and have watched every season good or bad since. I have also went back and watched most of the old Challenges for except maybe the first two or so. My favorite male competitor of all time is Landon because I love that he plays the game honestly and doesn’t rely on any shady tactics or alliances. He would also be a perfect undefeated 4–0 if he hadn’t been robbed at the end of Duel 2 by being sent in and then the infamous Brad play in the elimination. They all knew he would win by a mile in the final if he got there and that’s why they screwed him so hard. Also Fresh Meat 2 was one of my favorite seasons ever simply because Landon got Carley, the absolute last pick in the draft, and managed to somehow beat Kenny who had Laurel. But it wasn’t just winning the Final with Carley it was the way in which he won. He never once bad mouthed her yelled or got negative once. Instead he encouraged and praised her and kept her motivated. No other competitor in Challenge history would’ve been able to keep that cool of a head in that situation and win other than Landon. Period. He’s a legend in my book. And finally, for favorite female competitors it has to be Jillian from Road Rules. I know she’s nothing special but I always liked her personality and how she played the game. Also the fact that I think she’s super hot might have something to do with it. She did win the Gauntlet 3 even though it was only because of Easy collapsing, but she did win like 3 or 4 eliminations on that Challenge so she earned her spot. I also adore Frank from Las Vegas who also balled out on Gauntlet 3, and when they got together they instantly became my favorite Challenge couple of all time. Jillian also came back for one last ride on Fresh Meat 2 which pleasantly surprised me. She only came in 3rd in the Final but she made it there, played an honest game, and she did finish and take home a little bit of money.
