I may have read more of the responses than I read of the article (I stopped reading where you wrote something like “maybe the authors are real persons with no social media presence…”). It sounds like you might have actually gotten around to making some coherent point, controversial though it appears to be, later in the paper. I don’t intend that to be as snarky as it sounds, but I was really annoyed to be click-baited into reading what started out as an apparent rant against click-baiting (or maybe it wasn’t, I really wasn’t clear on that) before meandering into even murkier and seemingly esoteric waters. I thought I was going to see some stupid, unsubstantiated claim about something Hilary did or something that has been substantiated, but that no reasonably well-informed person would be surprised by. On Medium, one can usually skim to the claim and get the laugh in short order, but this droned on without that superficial payoff. And, I seriously doubt this is an “8 min read” for most readers… or maybe it just seemed to be hours.
