Well, I don’t know that I’m offended by your title, but I would say it is disappointingly misleading. I expected to find some books that addressed lessons that men in particular need to read–books that address areas in which men have traditionally faltered or books that help them men better relate to women (or to other men, for that matter), books on fatherhood, etc.

I’m not sure that women should be offended by it either, but then, I’m not a woman, and it is disconcerting that a list(icle) addressed just to men is a list to help with life learning and personal growth. More disconcerting is the fact that your list, touted to contain all the lessons one needs to develop wisdom, with the exception of one Asian male, includes only white, Western men.
