This is a collection of Ancient Mesopotamian erotic art. It was procured by finding images from many available sources. From the images, we can learn about how the Mesopotamian people had sex and viewed lust, marriage, and pregnancy. This collection is not definitive. It will be updated as more erotic art is found or becomes available.

Artifact 5: This is called the Burney Relief. It is thought to represent either Ishtar (Mesopotamian goddess of love and war) or her sister Ereshkigal (Queen of the underworld), c. 19th century or 18th century BC
