At the end of the article, “Because anyone with a Raspberry Pi can be an app developer in the world of web apps” isn’t relevant to Android and web app is not the answer to Android, Kotlin and Swift are where gaming, ML and AR shines and feel native which can affect user experience. I have tried app that use webapp as shown in Facebook ReactNative showcase, the negative impression I have in mind is not “polish UI”, it looks ugly and mismatch to the native UI. No matter how easy the development think the web app can be useful to developers, the consumers experience is all that matter whether they will use or deleted your app.
