Finding alignment

One of the hardest parts of being successful is finding alignment. Getting everything moving in the same direction. Eliminating or altering the parts that are taking away from the forward progress of the whole.

Alignment is the anti-friction.

A lot of the time finding alignment means saying no. Being unapologetic about your goals. Staying focused and avoiding distractions. Tightening everything up and eliminating any drag.

A lot of people look for balance in their lives, but to me that feels a lot like standing still. That’s why I prefer to seek alignment. When everything is perfectly aligned you can go really fast without much effort.

And going fast is just more fun.
