What fear really looks like

Most people have it all wrong. Fear doesn’t always look scary. It doesn’t always look terrifying, alarming, or worrying.

Fear is smarter than that.

Most of the time fear looks comfortable. It looks safe. It looks easy. It looks normal. It looks soft and round and warm and welcoming. Fear likes to hide. It likes to disguise itself as your friend so that you will feed it. In fact, fear might be staring back at you right now.
