Nothing has been proven — the market is pure speculation, the analysis could have been self-serving, the methods archaic. I’ve sat around and discussed this idea more than once in our organization, I’ve looked at the data multiple times, and I’ve done further competitive intelligence that highlights multiple misfires and the money pit that is attempting to fulfill this need. The economic portion is still very, very debatable at this point and that is the only reason that it hasn’t come to fruition. If it was crystal clear that money could be made (and not revenue — talking profit) then it would have been done a long time ago because it’s been buzzed about for many, many years.
