Mr. Middleton: You may as well say it all comes from air since without air we can’t live. Or water. for without water we die. All you are saying is we live in a physical existence, which is obvious. Everything comes from water, everything comes from air, etc. But we don’t need to own it to live or live well. The richest people in the world often live in a situation where they own no land whatsoever. On the other hand we can go look at those nations where people are poorest and see much wider ownership or land. Only a nation of farmers can starve to death—and every few years it is the nations that rely on widespread use of land by their population who experience famine.
