The beauty of this kind of report is that team members and leaders will have a clear perspective of what is happening and how their work is developing. The tasks are all summarized in a single page which includes the accomplishments, progress, milestones, problems and critical issues around the project including project budgets.

So how do you create a one-page report?

Read below the things you need to know to have a better and effective one-page status report.

Creating One-Page Report

First, you need to have a section for your project details. This section is where you need to write brief information about the project like the name of the project, who manages the project, and the project status date. In this section, you should also list down the most important details of activities successfully completed.

Second, is the section where you measure the progress of the project. Remember to keep it also short yet informative. Create some basic parameters to measure the project’s progress like the quality, risks, and schedule.

The third is the schedule section where you list down all the completed and uncompleted tasks including the milestones to have a clear view of the project’s progress.

Lastly, the section where you list down the risks and issues that the project is encountering or might encounter in the future. In this scenario, you will be able to think of the better solutions to have your project a success.
