One way I had conceived different versions of the same story would be a format in which someone reaches the end of one version and is prompted/teased to continue to learn more, on the same page, with additional information to explore tangents or more context. But the whole story isn’t shown at the beginning — the reader gets to decide how much they want. I’m not sure if that’s the best way to go about it, but that’s something I’d thought of, and I don’t think it contradicts the appeal of the summary or tweet format.

I think in an expanding story system, you wouldn’t get in trouble for writing too much! And as someone who’s naturally curious, more information is better, at least for me. But if I get to choose a stopping point, I wouldn’t be as overwhelmed to start.
