Be in the Know for Longer
The ‘honeymoon period’ is a common term used to describe the first few months in a new job. In this period, both parties are giving and receiving guidance, finding their way and showing tolerance for the time it takes a new team member to learn and upskill.
As part of our permanent recruitment process, JP Smith includes an extensive follow up program for your new employee to ensure satisfaction for both employee and employer.
We are also conscious that there is an expectation by the employer that after a year, an employee should be comfortable in their role, understand the business, be integrated into the culture and really start to perform to expectations. As expectations start to build for the employee, it is beneficial to see how they are responding to these expectations and gaining their feedback.
As a new initiative, JP Smith now offers an extended follow up program, which can be added to our usual 12 month follow up schedule. We can continue to gain valuable feedback from your new employee through two 6 monthly follow up sessions, priced at
We will sit with your employee to gain their thoughts, concerns, comments and general feedback and communicate this back to you as their employer.
The benefits to your business can include:
· Open and honest feedback from your staff provided to an objective third party;
· Increased ability to retain good quality staff through being aware of feedback; and
· Seeing results of your actions through a long-term, consistent feedback process.
If any issues are identified in this follow up process, JP Smith also offer an Employee Assistance Program, which you can read more about here.
If you would like to take advantage of these services, or have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Jamie Smith on 07 4659 7400.
