Have you looked at the political implications of the “Sharing Economy”? Uber and Airbnb used the recent Democratic convention to lobby Democrats to their side as they face problems with their respective services in different locations. Airbnb and its response to racially discriminatory behaviour from hosts and Uber faces legal battles with taxi companies.

As the article states the biggest fights Uber and Airbnb face in the next 4 years will be against local and state governments not a Clinton or Trump administration. This is just in the US but I am sure they will face similar battles in other countries around the world that will affect their future.
