Two things come to mind with regards to Android users’ increased satisfaction:

  1. I’m not sure if this is still the case, but I believe Android’s system-level sharing functionality was notably more powerful than iOS in the past — so it was easier and more intuitive perhaps to get files into and out of Dropbox. I know that on the rare occasions I haven’t been able to do this directly via a share function it’s been a tedious experience, so I suppose that could hit satisfaction.
  2. Honestly not trolling — my experience has always been that, taken as a cohort, Android users are generally more tech-savvy than the iOS crowd — who, while not necessarily completely tech-illiterate are more likely to be attracted by that ‘it just works’ philosophy — so I expect in general terms iOS users are likely to have difficulties working the app effectively and directing the blame onto the app?
