Dash, the leading open connected car platform, announces an exciting new partnership with RepairPal, a leading provider of auto service and repair information via a network of RepairPal Certified shops. The integration with RepairPal’s API allows Dash drivers to quickly diagnose their vehicle’s ‘Check Engine Light’ code and connect with trusted, local shops through the RepairPal Certified network.
With personalized repair estimates and descriptions in plain English, drivers can have peace-of-mind when it comes to vehicle issues. Users will find it simpler than ever to quickly schedule an appointment with any of the 2,000+ RepairPal Certified shops across the nation, knowing quality work will be completed at a fair price.
This new partnership enhances the existing functionality of Dash’s core product, on Android and iOS, used by over 400,000 drivers in 150 countries. By connecting Dash to an OBD from one of our preferred hardware partners (click here for more information, starting from as low as $20), drivers can track their trips, hear real-time voice feedback, set maintenance notifications, find the cheapest gas nearby, as well as compete with friends and family on who is the best driver, using the Dash score and leaderboard.
In addition, users can set up remote driver safety alerts, as well as parental notifications, for curfew and geo-location. Dash has just added a free DashCam option, allowing you to record video of trip events, such as hard breaks or other sudden actions.
