There’s a saying that once you get older you start to realize that Metroman was right and how he felt about being a hero. Congratulations, to the saying because it has made the JOKE of the year in my book because it made my stomach hurt from laughing so hard. If you don’t have the courage or bravery to tell the people of your city these three sentences: I’M TIRED OF BEING A SUPERHERO. RETIREMENT IS THE BEST THING FOR ME. I WANT TO DO GREATER THINGS THAN SAVING EVERYDAY PEOPLE AND FIGHTING AGAINST MEGAMIND. Then you shouldn’t be a hero at all.

You cannot have the courage or bravery to fight bad guys and save people and not have one of the qualities of being a hero which is honesty and as a hero, you must be honest with your people. Metroman only showed honesty when Roxanne and Megamind had caught him in his home because if they never were there, he would’ve still let everyone in Metrocity believe that he was dead.

Megamind and Roxanne were right when they said: “ Granted, that you have talent but there’s a madman out there destroying our-your city. How could you do this? The people of the city relied on you, and you deserted them.”

What made me even angrier is the fact that when Megamind told him that they needed his help to stop Titan, the nonchalant came out of him, even though, Megamind shares a piece of the pie chart of everything with Titan. This is what happens when you pretend to be someone that you are not, playing the game of roleplay and allow people to believe that you are someone that you are not. You will learn a good lesson just like Megamind, I promise you. People will always poke fun at you or make you feel a certain type of way because of your indifferences.

That’s just how the world can be at times but you have learn to rise above of what people say and think about you.

The term that I like to call nonchalant is the I-don’t-give-a-damn spirit. He didn’t even have the decency to say “ You know what, Megamind? You’re right. It is my city and my people and I can’t let anyone wreck and cause harm to them ” He could’ve cleaned himself up, put back on his costume and be a succor to Megamind’s side and tell the citizens the truth about him faking his death and announcing his retirement. They probably would’ve been shocked and upset at him but it’s all about honesty once again because what Metro Man did to everyone is what we call back in my home “ flaw “.

My hopes went straight through the roof when I saw Metro Man appear in Metrocity ready to put an end Titan’s evilness.

He tells Roxanne and Titan “You were right. I never should’ve left. You know what’s good for you Titan. You’ll stay out of Metrocity. For good” and Titan becomes scared and says, “You got it” and flies away and in my mind, I was saying “ Yes, the writers aren’t going down that route. They know what Metro Man did was unacceptable and they wanted him to do the right thing” but all the hopes had died down when it revealed to be Megamind disguised as Metro Man.

I should’ve known that it was him because of the watch on his Metro Man’s costume and the way pronounced Metrocity. Megamind should not have to disguise himself as the black-haired hero. He shouldn’t have to go that length. Metro Man is wrong and will always be wrong not matter how many times people can convince themselves that he is not and defend what he did.

Thank you so much for taking your time to read my Metro Man rant. 😄
