All four of these are absolutely crucial to profitability - and yes, as founders we are too busy fire-fighting and building to get back them.

I think many founders too are happier with big-picture stuff. Data can make them roll their eyes with boredom. And sales is too often a dirty word that doesn't get a mention anymore.
