The first example in the article is a mild supporter (it doesn’t say what exactly he supports) but the case itself is a reflection of combativeness (this person would support the foreign connection investigation of Trump but is stuck in endless discussions for 100% purity). Even people who never supported Trump but disagree on some technicality get this kind of treatment. The rest of the article indeed falls into the category “you’re unhappy with my action but shouldn’t mention it, it’s not nice to me”.
