Oh, come on. Jeff Sessions was a prosecutor before he was a Senator. He knows what sexual assault is. He just doesn’t want to look ridiculous for being the first American politician to openly endorse Donald Trump. He probably even thinks dropping his endorsement of Trump would hurt him in Alabama, but supporting him on this will impact his 2020 re-election bid.
