All the likes :) I cared SO MUCH about things like content calendars and blogging consistency when I started at RJMetrics, it just seemed so important. Turns out, all it did was make us very busy. Learned that lesson the hard way.
HA! I was wondering when someone was going to point out the low claps. I did not use my 3-part clap plan :D I just wanted to get this up ASAP so I had something to share with people who attended the session, so I sacrificed good promotion on this one. Thanks for attending & reading. Good luck with Medium!
Wonderful article! This makes me think of the press cycle — we build someone up, we love them…and then we want to see them fall (Lookin’ at you right now, Zuckerberg). The higher someone is up to begin with, the more delightful the fall from grace. There’s just something in us that wants to see old things die and new things replace them.
I hope you’ll take the time to reach out to the people who have suffered the most abuse on Twitter — black women and members of the trans community. They have been asking for more support from Twitter for years. I hope you get it right this time around.
Hey Hunter! Really great to see even small teams invest in diversity efforts at this point. I would be interested in what they learn after following up with female candidates who left the pipeline. I’m hoping for a part 2 :)
