A Very Sweet Old Ghost

And something not so friendly.

A dark, deserted room is lit up by shafts of sunlight through a doorway. The walls are peeling, and through another door we can see a similar room, also lit by dappled daylight.

In 2000 I went into hospital for a major surgery. It was a small but very nice hospital a few kms from our home. Long ago it had been a convent for Catholic nuns, and later it became a hospital. Recently it had been added onto and upgraded, with a whole new modern wing attached.
