I don’t know where you think the lines are drawn, but anyone calling Corbyn’s position “hard-line ideology” hasn’t looked at Labour ideology since the inception of the party. Corbyn isn’t as far-left as Attlee’s govt in 40s. He speaks about the need to staunch the wounds that the Tories have been inflicting on the body politic ever since Thatcher, but most importantly since 2010. It is the Tories that have polarised the country. The NHS, Housing, Education, DWP and employment— all in crisis, and all likely to be made much worse by Brexit.
