I can’t deny what you say. I don’t think the general public is aware that so many scientific studies are bought and paid for, however, or aware of the various data fraud scandals (such as Andrew Wakefield). To me it goes back to a lack of effective science education in the schools.The advertising industry doesn’t help either, with their fake institutes and 4-out-of5-dentists claims.
