Thank you for your insight, especially regarding the Libertarian position. I acknowledge what you say about the right to privacy not being mentioned in the Constitution. My point was that many conservative issues could be reframed as privacy issues, though they aren’t likely to be. You can always reframe issues and let people accept them or not. Frank Luntz does it all the time. If they were reframed and considered, however, it might reveal how the judicially defined right to privacy might coincide with some of their positions, especially if the judiciarapplies that right to some of the decisions in their favor. Basically, I was considering “what if?”
