It’s Not About Race!
John Metta

Thank you John. You have given me a new level of understanding I have previously lacked in my 60 years around the sun as a white priveledged person. I have close friends of other races, have intentionally sent my children to schools where people of all races and socioeconomic groups were well represented, marched in the streets in protest of racial inequality with my children in tow to promote their awareness, called out my white friends when I felt they needed to be and felt I had done “my part”…….until I read your article. Thank you for opening my have closed, complacent eyes. I’m sure you are young enough to be my grandson. Well done young man. I’d be proud to be your grandmother…..Wishing you a lifetime of success in your craft.
