While I respect some of the arguments of your original essay, I have to say I’m in agreement with Amanda about your tone. You are arguing for our cause (yes, I am NOT a traditional cis, straight person) yet you fly off the handle and use insulting words and a demeaning tone to people who are legitimately commenting on your essay. This way of defending works against you in so many ways, and against the cause you represent.
