Misconceptions Filipino Millennials Have About Working Abroad
Lance Navarro

Fantastic personal account on the quality of life back home vs. living in NZ (Auckland specifically). Life here has been challenging specially without the safety net of people who genuinely cares for you, like family and friends. So I couldn’t agree more to finding friends asap, joining meet-ups, and just basically hanging with people who can relate to you and share your struggles :) About transportation, I used to work in BGC and the commute from Marikina takes 2 1/2 hours per way. That’s 5–6 hours of daily commute. Now, I commute less than an hour a day — roundtrip! I feel like I have more control over my personal time, which is very important to me.
