intro: Hello I am Janis and I love to inspire others with my passion in creativity. I have never been good in my life telling stories or write articles. What I did is uninspiring assignments at university. That’s way I decided to write and share my experiences. I hope you will like a bit.

Probably you know it — we believe in lot of things where our innovative ideas go on. Ideas which can effect others and make to change the things for brighter future in our successes. We try to create things what make our identity and personality. The things what tell our stories about us and in the end of the day make us feel proud. We create our surrounding what makes our ideas be heard, seen and leads us to become better than others. let’s be honest it feels good to be the best, to be on the top “1st.”. It feels rewarding and when you think to gain more successes you think how to improve your skills, talent, more social skills, abilities, willpower …

but we dont’ think about others and we dont’t give often credits to others. What we often think is how good I am, how I can get more than I have. Usually it happens in subconscious level through your work. The more we think about ourselves the less we learn and gain from others.

Be Nice.

It’s good to be visionary with the big dreams and to have a big “ego” but with a limit. It creates a goal what we want to succeed but it also creates an environment with negative space where enjoinment of work flow disappears. That makes great and nice ideas to be never seen because of “ego” and selfishness. It locks a team spirit from creativity and the same time creates a huge competition between people with big ambitions. Everyone looking for better good and never looks at others.

What if we keep things what matters to us and others but pushing the limits for better work flow and keeping creativity high. How we can influence the things actually make them happen and joyful for everyone, for every team member ?

Be at your best each day to surround yourself with supportive and open mid set. To get better let others in your work flow be engaged with ideas and don’t put the ideas down in beginning “Kill ideas” and don’t think about your personal development. Think about others but still keep it in professional level. Your goal is to achieve tasks together with a team and learn from each other.

More important keep it easy and go for more choice for higher motivation and more innovation. Shape it with trust, share ideas and advise others.

Example “not Nice”: Let’s say you are an interface designer. At your job you are working with a team on a project. One of the team members asks you to help with a specific design element but as a Designer you have high self esteem. That you are the best, only your ideas are good ideas and his ideas are the worst. Next day again he tries to show you another solution but you don’t agree. Other day, again you don’t like it. It puts other person down. He won’t be motivated to work. It’s your selfishness that wants your idea to be shown at the end of the project and to be seen. What it creates — in long term progress you create environment where no one will share ideas with you and you will draw on people with same believes like you “ego, selfishness”. You will become frustrated, presumptuous and ownership of your creative work.

Do the right thing for others and never expect to get something back. That will make better work environment.

What I mean by that it’s not just to be nice to others it’s to share interest and be honest with others, to find and explore new ideas. Go in adventure believe you can be better and believe you can improve yourself by learning from others.

I would like to finish my first small article with Simon Sinek quote,
