The Airline Boarding Pass

Looks cool, but it’s clear that it has been designed by somebody who is not a frequent flier. The airport codes are on the ticket for a reason. Using them, you can quickly find your flight on the departure table and see if it has been delayed etc. Also, when you have multiple flights in one day, then yes, you definitely want to see the codes.

This article is a nice example of “usability” done wrong, without proper user research. You cannot change a thing to be usable just because you think it’ll be usable.

Anyway, I really like the design. Add the codes and it’ll be awesome!
