The purpose of this article — A call to Elon Musk to interview with Singularity 1 on 1
I’m writing this to try and encourage Elon Musk to consider an interview with my good friend Nikola Danaylov, the always engaging and thoughtful host of “Singularity 1 on 1” (a YouTube channel). It is a video podcast that has a large following of Futurists, Scientists, Geeks, and Trans-humanists.

Nikola Danaylov (Host of “Singularity 1 on 1" podcast)
He was born in Bulgaria and moved to Canada where he completed degrees in Political Science, Philosophy, & Economics and currently resides in Toronto.
He was later accepted into Singularity University, a unique institute founded by the famous inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil and XPrize founder Peter Diamandis. After finishing the program he was encouraged by Ray to continue his Singularity Blog which has be running ever since.
Nikola has spoken at public events on topics ranging from technology, transhumanism and the technological singularity to new media. He has been profiled in Next Stage Rising Stars Magazine and has been interviewed himself for numerous documentary films, blogs, podcasts, magazines and newspapers. Nikola’s own Singularity 1 on 1 interviews have had over 2 million views on iTunes and YouTube and have been featured on international TV: BBC, TV Japan, io9, ZDNet, BoingBoing and others.
Elon Musk — His concerns with AI and the $10M donation to protect us from AI
Elon Musk, the PayPal co-founder behind SpaceX, SolarCity and Tesla Motors, is concerned about the explosion of artificial intelligence. Both he, physicist Stephen Hawking, and others have publicly voiced their concerns about the possibility of an AI Apocalypse (i.e. The Terminator scenario).
Recently Elon attended a closed-door conference in Puerto Rico which outlined research priorities for AI — AI’s economic and legal effects, and the security of AI systems to the human race. Afterward he felt it necessary to show his concerns by publically donating $10 million to support research “aimed at keeping AI beneficial to humanity.”
