Please, for the love, when writing future music columns, do NOT append a “the” before the band name unless the band itself does so. It’s not “the Arctic Monkeys,” but it is “The Wailers.” It isn’t “the Smashing Pumpkins,” but it was “The Doors.” Adding “the” when people (should) know better undercuts your music credibility, and I personally didn’t care to read the opinion behind the article after seeing that this most grievous transgression was going to repeat itself throughout.
